Texas Hill Country Drone Services – 2nd Career Drone Services

I use the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom to capture photo or video imagery in the Texas Hill Country or New Braunfels area in a number of different scenarios. When to "capture" the images depends on a number of factors including prevailing weather, orientation of the subject and the optimal time of day it is best illuminated.

Undeveloped Property and Lots

The DJI Mavic 2 Zoom drone can be used to capture photos or videos of small lots to multi-acre properties and ranches. In some cases it may be helpful to have aerial images of properties before and after site-preparation.

Consider using a drone to capture images during all phases of your home's construction

Homes under construction

Pre-foundation concrete pour through to completion of construction. Some may find construction "progress" photos helpful especially if they are unable to visit their homes as much as they'd like or would like to update family and friends that do not live in the area. I sometimes use my Nikon D5500 DSLR camera to capture "ground level" images when progress has been made on homes and weather conditions (winds) prevent the use of the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom drone. I do not post these images to this website, but do share them with the respective property owners.

Newly Finished Homes

Images can be captured once the contractor has completed final grading, removed the cement clean-out box, dumpster and portable toilet.

Landscaping

Consider using a drone to capture images during all phases of your home's landscaping. Examples include prior to the start of landscaping, prior to the burial of irrigation piping and several weeks after the completion of landscaping when the sod is "green".

Existing Homes

Images can be captured throughout the year when the home is new or years later. Consider capturing images prior to the expiration of the builder's warranty or after major projects have been completed.

Consider using a drone to capture images of hard to reach areas like roofs, chimneys, etc.

I am open to consider other drone usage requests, but in all cases I first visit the location to meet the property owner, talk about the request and assess the area regarding conditions necessary to safely conduct and complete the drone flight.

I can share imagery with those I fly for via USB memory devices or email and by links to videos I upload to YouTube. I do not critique what I see in the imagery.

At present, I am not charging for my services as my focus at this time is to gain experience using my DJI Mavic 2 Zoom "drone" to capture imagery as noted in the above scenarios to build a portfolio which includes content for this website.
